Hi I am applying for RPU sergeant because I feel that I have progressed in RPU in the short time I have been in the department. I believe that I have already helped the department as much as I can and with this new rank I will be able to help not only RPU but the whole department even more than I already can and do. I feel that it is not only a rank but a whole new responsibility in which I am challenged to do more not only by my colleagues but by myself as well. Not only do I look at it as a responsibility but I think I am made for the role as it entails being a leader and a role model for other people and leading as an example. It would also include being a leader for other people and making hard decisions which other officers cant make. A good sergeant also must have good communication skills and must be able to mentor other people all of which I can do. I think I would make a great sergeant and I hope you take my application into consideration.
